He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lanik and Rose Lanik (Brtek); his spouse Mardell Hagelstein; his daughters, Debra Lanik-DiNaso and Laurie Jean Lanik; his granddaughter-in-law Alixx Lanik; and his siblings, Francis Lanik (Mildred), Godfrey Lanik, Leo Lanik, Bernard Lanik and Rosemarie Cermak (Francis).
He is survived by: his children, Lynette Lanik of Antigo, Denise De Los (Jeff) and Bryan Lanik of Bryant; his son-in-law Chuck DiNaso of Oak Lawn, IL; his grandchildren, Shawn, Nicole (Chris), Bradley, Dawn, Kristina (Anthony), Mitchell (Nicole), Amber, Jeffrey and Simone; his great grandchildren, AJ, Elise, Aaleigha, Ava, Aidan, Layla, Austin, Conor, Max, Miles, Michael, Joseph, Oliver and Abigail; his brothers, Vennie Lanik (Willa) of Lincoln, NE and Ralph Lanik (Irene) of Tucson, AZ; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Lanik of Wahoo, NE and Darlene Lanik of Wahoo, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
