He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hafner and Anna Hafner (Mucha); and his sister Betty Stegelski. He is survived by: his wife Leilani "Lee"; his children, Richard (Janene), Sandra (Steve), David (Patty), Daniel (Michelle), Dianna (Dan), Debra (Tim) and Gregory (Liesl); and his sister Margaret Knapkavage. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
