It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Ahlswede (Brussels, Wisconsin), who passed away on May 11, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rebecca Ahlswede to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Claflin and Esther Claflin (Vetter); her husband Marvin Ahlswede; and her siblings, Aaron Claflin (Mary), Betty Madoche (Allan), Keith Claflin and Joan Pagels (Art).
She is survived by: her children, Dawn (Dave), Vicki Roig (Dennis), Faye (John), Briane Ahlswede (Roxanne) of California, Bruce (Michelle) and Barry Ahlswede (Little Sturgeon); her sister Diane Beyer (Peter); and her sister-in-law Janet Claflin. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Becky's name to Salem Lutheran Church for the handicap fund.
