He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Abel and Grace Abel (Herr). He is survived by: his wife Dawn Marie Blondheim; his children, Robert, Donald (Morgan), Susanne and Muriel; his siblings, Frank Abel (Abigail), Donna Peters (Jerry) and Joanie Bujanowski; and his parents-in-law, Dan and Kathy Blondheim. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
