He was predeceased by: his wife Karen; his parents, Edward Wiedman and Betty Englund; his stepfather Douglas Englund Sr.; and his siblings, Susan Douglas and Peter Englund.
He is survived by: his son Carl of Brownsville; and his sisters, Anne Mark (Ray) of Houston, Patty Tripp (Paul) of Preston and Barbara Bolin Ft (Kevin).
