He was predeceased by: his son Bob Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, John H. Ideker and Gladys Ideker (Bichel); his wife Kathleen; his children, Jean Schwanbeck (Mark), Jaynie Sheffer (Joe) and Joe Ideker (Karen); his daughter-in-law Becky Ideker; his grandchildren, Jeana Slocum (Jeff), James Ideker, Alan Ideker (Maria), John Ideker (Grace), Anna Pohlman (Kevin), Kate Ideker, Melanie Frydenlund (Nick), Jared Ideker (Judith), Josiah Ideker (Cheyenne), Naomi Ideker, Rebecca Ideker, Rachel DeJarlais (Matt), Adam Sheffer, Jake Sheffer (Em), Jennifer Ideker, Jessica Heberlein (Adam) and Maria Ideker; his siblings, John "Fritz" Ideker (Beverly), Russel Ideker (Janet) and Mildred Lorenz (Dale); and his wife Phyllis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Community Church in Hokah or the Hokah Fire Department/First Responders.
