Elaine E. Schwefel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine E. Schwefel of Brownsville, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Schwartz and Eleanora Schwartz; her in-laws, O. Paul II and Gladys Schwefel; her son Opy Schwefel; her siblings, Helen Kind and Gary Schwartz; and her siblings-in-law, Ken Kremer, Keith Lerch, Jim "Nellie" Nelson, James Schwefel, William Schwefel, Joyce Schwartz and Sandra Schwefel Massie.
She is survived by: her husband O. Paul Schwefel III; her son Jason Schwefel (Erica); her grandchildren, Kyle Feltes (Haley), Hannah and Lily Shaw (Quinton); her daughter-in-law Melissa Schwefel; her daughter Christina Lueck (Paul); her grandsons, William, Ben and Silas Lueck; her siblings, Carol Kremer, Carolyn Lerch and Donny Schwartz; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Kind, Sally Boelk (Lowell), June Nelson, Kathy Schwefel and Patti Schwartz.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (855 Martin Ave, Fond du Lac, WI 54935). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (http://www.cff.org.), Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, or SSM Health at Home Hospice.
