He is survived by: his spouse Kelly C. Schuster; his sons, Samuel and Joshua Schuster (Briana Thadison); and his grandchildren, Lailah Schuster and Julia Pirelli.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society appreciated.
