We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Lois Oral Petersen of Brown Deer, Wisconsin, born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Bergum and Eva Bergum (Storlie); her husband Paul Petersen; her brother Mancel Bergum; and her daughter Marilyn Petersen.

She is survived by: her sister Audrey Thompson; her children, Rev. Steven Petersen (Kathleen), Rev. John Petersen (Joyce), Elizabeth Morales (Christian) and Emily Bratten (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Ann McGowen (Ray), Seth Petersen (Katie), Dr. Renee Prokos (Trevor), Ella Owens (Shawn), Nathan Morales (Kristen), Dr. Theodore Petersen (Lisa), Adam Morales, Silas Petersen (Margaret) and Lydia Petersen. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Evangelical Lutheran Synod designated for World Outreach would be appreciated by the family.
