He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sylvia Kaufman; his children, Ellen Mandelman (Ben), Gary Kaufman (Jan) and Laurie Schmidt (late Gary); his sister Lily Teplinsky; his grandchildren, Joel Mandelman, Emily Mandelman, Aaron Kaufman (Alexandria), Noah Kaufman (Samantha), Anna Springob (David), Asher Kaufman, Brian Schmidt (Christine) and Steven Schmidt; and his great grandchildren, Julian, Vivian Schmidt, David, Eleanor Springob, Eve Kaufman and Arial Kaufman. He was also cherished by other friends and many loving nieces and nephews.
