With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilfred Willard Wendt of Brooklyn, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wendt and Lena Wendt (Hodel); his wife Dorothy Mae Wendt of John's Lutheran Church; his son Duane "Dewey" Wendt; his brothers, Herbert Wendt (Violet) and Rodney Wendt (JoAnne); and his brother-in-law Richard Gunnelson.

He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Wendt (Robert Gemmill), Sandra Wendt (Bill Thorson) and Scott Wendt (Susie); his grandchildren, Jennifer Wendt, Luke Ampe, Nicole Klahn (Chad), Joshua Wendt and Samantha Peschel; and his great grandchild Adalena.
