She was predeceased by: her daughter Kathleen Ripley; her niece Cheryl Carlson; and her brother-in-law Ed Carlson. She is survived by: her husband Richard Horn of Brooklyn; her children, Douglas Horn (Jessica) of Brooklyn and Eileen Horn of New Glarus; her grandchildren, Trevor (Rachel), Lillian, Kaitlin (Ben), Benjamin, Ivy and Michelangelo; her great grandchild Joanna; her son-in-law Dale Ripley; and her siblings, Patricia Carlson of Green Bay and Robert Liebeck (Val) of Kewaunee, WI. She is also survived by two nephews and one niece.

A memorial fund will be established in Sandy's name.
