He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Burdick and Eleanor Burdick; his former wife Carol M.; and his stepchildren, Scott Schauer, Brian Schauer and Kristen Lutter (Michael).
He is survived by: his wife Virginia S. (Ginny); his children, Julianne Schalk, Michael Burdick, William Burdick (Mary), James Burdick (Lisa), Jennifer and John Burdick (Tracey); his grandchildren, Jayson Schalk, Jack, Lydia Burdick, Olivia, Erika Burdick, Katon, Kaaya Minhas, Anna Grace and Caroline Burdick; his stepgrandchildren, Amanda Waters, Ian Schauer (Kiley) and Jonathan Miller; his great grandchild Flynn Wright-Burdick; his siblings, Kathleen Schoendorf (late Fred) and Greg Burdick (Michele); and his nieces and nephews, Gary Schoendorf (Kathy), Susan Schoendorf-Schramka (Greg), Kenneth Schoendorf and Teresa (Eric Patterson).
