It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Schnake (Brookfield, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tina Schnake; his daughter Elena Shephard; his son-in-law Kyle; his grandsons, Nathaniel and Ewan Shephard; his sisters, Carol Geballe and Ann Schnake; his godson Ashton; his niece Alexis; and his parents, Jim Schnake and Zora Schnake. He was also cherished by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Krause Funeral Home (21600 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53072). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 7:15 PM at the Old Town Serbian Gourmet Restaurant (522 W Lincoln Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Cemetery Forest Home Cemetery (2405 W Forest Home Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215).
In lieu of flowers, you can plant a tree in honor of Michael, either in Wisconsin's Chequamegon Nicolet National Forest (https://shop.alivingtribute.org) or in California's El Dorado National Forest.
