He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline Elmergreen, and Allen J. Elmergreen, Sr.; his wife Margaret; and his brothers, Allen, Richard and Ronald.
He is survived by: his children, Anna Mayer (Lee), John Elmergreen (Judy), Carol Runzheimer (Mark), Nancy Elmergreen and Thomas Elmergreen (Michelle); his grandchildren, Joe Elmergreen, Janice Rush (Travis), Jerod Green (Alicia Rodriguez), Kari Jo Fleming (Jason), Marc Mayer (Jenna), Cory Mayer, Aric Runzheimer (Morgan), Evan Runzheimer (Joanne) and Lauren Elmergreen; his great grandchildren, SJ, Tessa, Audrey, Colin, Cormac, Calvin, Wesley and Jack; and his sister Virginia Zastrow of Sheboygan. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Chapel of the Chimes (13235 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53005). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Courtyard at Sussex or Allay Hospice would be appreciated.
