Julianna Victoria Mueckl Obituary
Julianna Victoria Mueckl (nee Stumpfhauser) was received into glory by her Heavenly Father Wednesday, November 27th at the age of 93. She was born in Beschka, Yugoslavia to her parents Anton Stumpfhauser and Katharina (nee Kniesel). She spent her early years there as part of a large ethnically German community. WWII forced her and her siblings to relocate to Austria. At age 19, she immigrated to the U.S. where she met and married Heman Mueckl. Together they raised four sons.
While she had numerous hobbies, including painting, gardening, reading and an occasional serious game of Scrabble; Julianna's primary focus lay in faith and family. Her daily life reflected the gospel through her kindness, patience, gentleness and charity.
One of the many ways she expressed her love of family was through her excellent cooking. A child or grandchild could not be in her home long before they would be invited to join in a meal.
We will miss our mom/oma but take solace in knowing she has touched each one of us and through us, future generations. Julianna leaves behind sons Jerome (Wendy), Anthony, Alfred, Gareth (Julie Baumann), and grandchildren Steven, Alice and Franklin and great grandchildren Adelaine and Elora. She is also survived by her dear sister Hildegard Schneiker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 2 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 3 PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park – Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Dr. in Brookfield.
