He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriet L. Werra and Julius W. Werra; his siblings, Lucille Foster, Harriet Fridl and John Werra; and his sister-in-law Gretchen Werra.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor "Nora" Finnigan Werra; his children, Julie Schultz (Steve) of Neshkoro, WI and William Werra (Cheryl) of Sussex, WI; his grandchildren, Stephanie Hampton (Mark), Nicholas Grassel (Kassie), Alexandra Werra and Zachary Werra; his brother Conrad Werra; and his siblings-in-law, Yvonne Werra, James Fridl and Russell Foster.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to Marquette University, Marquette University High School, or Mount Mary University.
