He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmore Kanehl and Gladys Kanehl. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Kanehl (Nee Kobliska); his sons, Andrew J. Kanehl and Aaron J. Kanehl; his granddaughter Madelyn Pitel Kanehl; and his sister Joy Houghton.
