It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geniene M. Drefahl (Brookfield, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Darling and Virginia Darling; her sister Christine Darling; her great grandchild Alexis; and her pets, Gabby and Jake.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Drefahl; her daughters, Marcia Bienz (Rick), Lisa (Jeff Kircher) and Teresa Haapakoski (Randy); her grandchildren, Lyndsey Hume and Mallory Hazelwood (Jesse); her great grandchildren, Jordyn, Jenna and Jayce Hazelwood; her sisters, Darlene Gronitz (Ronnie) and Charlene Blackwood; and her pet Duke.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Harder Funeral Home (18700 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53045). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brighton Hospice or the Elmbrook Humane Society in her honor.
