He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hofman and Alice Hofman (Derksen) of Waupun, Wisconsin.; and his brother Gary Hofman. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hofman (Dyk); his children, Dirk Hofman (Jill) and Allison (Brandon Koole); his grandchildren, Riley, Avery Koole, Paige and Cora Hofman; his siblings, Philip Hofman (Mary), Gloria Rens (Dave) and Flora Bresser (Brian); and his sister-in-law Phyllis Hofman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Brookfield Christian School Foundation if desired.
