He was predeceased by: his parents, Rankin Denny and Mildred Denny (Rogers); and his sister Evelyn Carson (Denny). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Breese Butterfield (Betsy); his daughters, Janet Elizabeth (Stark), Ashley (Robert Licht), Nancy Anne (Denny), Mary Carolyn (Denny), Magoon (David), Margaret Breese (Denny), Lynn Louise (Denny), Milner (Steve), Elizabeth Ann Denny, Judith Anne Vertrees Petterson (Denny), Laura Colleen (Denny) and Eva Denny; his stepchildren, Ronda Burke (Bye), Daniel Bye and Byron Bye; his grandchildren, Christopher John Stark, Maxwell Jacob Jensen, Sydney Breese Jensen, Justin David Magoon, John Ryan Carley, Cailin McGuire Cooper (Carley), Lauren Siobahn Abt (Carley), Ashley Elizabeth Milner, Christian Timothy Petterson, Anna Elise Ochoa (Petterson), Elijah, Asha Whitney and Waylon Swift; his great grandchildren, Julia Stark, Jillian Stark, Alexander Stark, Anthony Stark, Nolan Carley and Amalia Ochoa; and his brother Robert Denny.
