With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois J. Sweeney of Brodhead, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 3, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Teddie Thompson and Mable Thompson (Everson); her husband Fredrick "Bud" Sweeney; her great grandchild Samantha Meighan; her siblings, Merlin Thompson, Helen Anderson, Doreen Judd and Joyce Gilbertson; her siblings-in-law, Lou Sweeney, Bonnie Sweeney, Betty Schnulle, Lois Walters, Robert Fox, Robert Young, Ronald Sweeney, Donald Berget, Basil "Bud" Walters, Ole Anderson and Selmer Judd, Jr.; her son-in-law David Leck; and her friend Mayona Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Leck of Brodhead, WI, Connie Meighan of Topock, AZ, Wayne Sweeney (Deb) of Juda, WI, Sharon James (Robert) of Monroe, WI and Randy Sweeney (Tami) of Janesville, WI; her sister Lela Sweeney (Robert) of Sparta, WI; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Young of Wiota, WI and Doris Fox of Wichita, KS; and her friend Beth Zadrazil of Avoca, WI.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
