She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Jr. Symons and Kathleen Symons (Scott). She is survived by: her partner Merle Monahan of Brodhead; and her brothers, Bruce Symons (Jody) of Nekoosa, WI and Todd Symons of Lena, IL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Cynthia's name.
