He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph and Bessie; and his sister Dolores Yordi (Robert). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Benedict; his children, Shirley M. Olson, Steven Davidson, Eric Davidson (Deborah) and Maren Smith (Edgar); his grandchildren, Amanda Carter (Allan), Natalie Bird (Nathan), Hannah Haros (Yanni), Miranda Smith and Jason Smith; his great grandchild Holland Bird; his stepchildren, Ruth Fowler (Ron), Mark Whitmire (Karen) and Eric Whitmire; his stepgrandsons, Matt, Cody and Alex; his stepgreat-grandsons, Jack and Liam; and his nephews, Rob and David Yordi. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
