She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Gawlikoski and Helen Gawlikoski; and her siblings, Julian, Edwin, Bea, Sylvia, Angie, Roman and Virginia Schoen.
She is survived by: her husband John J. Callahan; her children, Mike Callahan (Pam), Scott Callahan (Amy), Peggy Callahan and John P. Callahan (Yanling Xie); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Callahan (Brandon TeVrucht), Nic Callahan, Cassie Krikau and Anna Callahan-Kehler (Nick); her great grandchild Madelyn TeVrucht; and her brother Gary Gawlikoski (Charlene). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Ellie's memory.
