He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meetz and Helen Meetz (Zick); his wife Deborah Jacob; his daughter Bobbi Meetz; his stepson-in-law Richard Hawtrey; and his siblings, Jean Kolacheski and Conrad Meetz.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Meetz (Wanita), Bill Meetz, Lacy Eickert (Eric) and Lucy; his grandchildren, Whitney, Chase, Peyton and Emmitt; his stepchildren, Bill VanAsten (Shanna) and Nicole Hawtrey; his stepgrandchildren, Allie, Joe, Noah and Evie; his siblings, Otis (Sandy), Silas (Karen), Jewel (Judy), Joyce (Christine), Alicia Kirby and Roxanna Kleinheinz (Thomas); and his siblings-in-law, Grace Meetz, Mary Daul (Larry), Bill VanDenEng (Sue), Kathy Hopfensperger (Butch), Roger VanDenEng (Brenda), Robert Jacob (Susan) and James VanDenEng (Becky). He is also survived by Many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
