It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome Nies (Brillion, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Nies and Anastasia Nies (Kane); and his parents-in-law, Frank, Caroline Kabat, Marie Diny (Clarence), Robert Nies (Dorothy), William Nies (Lucy), Joseph Nies and Bernard Nies.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadine "Bernie" Kabat; his parents-in-law, Dale Nies (Cheri) of Brillion, Betty Nies of Brillion and Diane Cross (Daniel); his grandchildren, Victoria Giesseman (Tim) of Appleton, Brian Nies of Brillion, Christopher Nies (Jennifer) of Brillion, Neal Cross (Melissa) of Minnetonka, MN and Calsey Miller (Joshua) of Bremertown, WA; his great grandchildren, Josh, Emily Giesseman, Kaicin Nies-Carter, Cailey and Helena Nies; his sisters, Florence Kabat of Kaukauna and Ellen Farrell of Grafton; and his sister-in-law Rosella Nies of Depere. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
