He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Heimke and Lena Heimke; his wife Harriet Schnell; his children, Michael Heimke and Annette Martens; his grandson Samuel Van Lanen; his brother Ronald Heimke; and his brothers-in-law, Don Schnell and Robert Ferrell.
He is survived by: his son Thomas Heimke (Mary) of Covington, GA; his grandchildren, Kelly Waeghe (Patrick) of Green Bay, Jacob Van Lanen (Jessica) of Green Bay, Saul Van Lanen (Allie) of Green Bay, Andrew Martens of DePere, Jason Heimke (Tanya) of Neenah and Nicole Padget of Appleton; and his siblings, Donald Heimke (Marilyn) and Germaine Farrell. He is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
