With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel W. Kanter of Brillion, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kanter and Mary Kanter (Burich); his siblings, Donald Kanter (Joan), Delores Moller (Jerome) and Darlene Balliew; his parents-in-law, Robert and Violet McVey; his siblings-in-law, Michael Stetson, Jack Carmody, Michael Heimke, Beverly Buss and Sandra Kuchenbecker; and his close friend Geno Gerhardt.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kanter; his daughters, Renee Kanter and Rebecca Brault (David); his grandchildren, Sawyer Stubbe (Theresa Wegner), Sydney Stubbe (Cameron Strutz), Abby Brault (Cody Thoresen) and Ethan Brault; his siblings, Dennis Kanter (Lyla), Darwin Kanter (Robin), Dean Kanter (Jane), Dianne Carmody, Danette Kanter, Denise Weber (Mike), Dorilyn Kanter, Deborah Karl (Tim) and Dorothy Fitzgerald (Patrick); his siblings-in-law, Gary McVey (Gesine), Bryan McVey (Anne), Brent McVey (Dawn), Carol Schuh (Mike), Dawn Johns (Doug), Ron Kuchenbecker and Richard Buss; and his son-in-law Scott Stubbe (Carol).
