He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Gaffney and Betty Gaffney; and his siblings, Charlie, Tom and Susan.
He is survived by: his wife Melodie of Briggsville; his stepchildren, Jerad Pearson (Crystal) of Deforest and Elissa Stone (Adam) of Ohio; his stepgrandchildren, Allysa, Drew, Maddi, Bella and Evan; his sisters, Ginny Joyce (Jim) of Briggsville and Charlene Zinke of Washington; and his friends, Dan, Terri, Nolan and Collin Deming.
Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 virus, a celebration of Mike's life will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the EAA Chapter 371, Portage, Wisconsin.
