He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Houten and Gretchen Van Houten (Kwakkel); his sister Judy Larson; and his son-in-law Steve Thom. He is survived by: his wife Linda Van Houten; his daughter Kandi Van Houten; his grandson Samuel Thom (Kendra McCandless); his great grandchildren, Blake and Kinsley Thom; his siblings, Joyce McCoy, Janet Drefphel (Ron) and Jon Van Houten (Sue); and his brother-in-law Terry Radant Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, relatives and friends.
