He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Deaver and Evelyn Mertens Deaver; his wife Dolores Kastein; his siblings, Ames Deaver (Veronica), Ellen Ann Veto (Roy) and Jean Towne (Richard); and his siblings-in-law, Arlene Bille (Marvin), Catherine Schwartz (Jerome), Marie Wellhouse and Donald Kastein (Donald Vande Zande).
He is survived by: his children, Paul Deaver, Teresa Thiem (Ron), James Deaver (Emily), Kathleen Stobb (Jodie) and Mary Durant; his sister Verda Berkers; his godchildren, David Deaver, Gary Loop and Kelly Huhndorf; and his siblings-in-law, Earl Wellhouse and Donna Kastein. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
