With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Ramsey of Brandon, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 2, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dorothy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Otto and Anna Derfus Otto; her husband Maurice "Mike" Ramsey of Brendan's Catholic Church; and her sister-in-law Grace Otto. She is survived by: her children, Kay Ramsey, Brent Ramsey (Cindy), Anne Ramsey (Bud Skaar), Mark Ramsey (Jill) and James Ramsey (Janine); and her brother James Otto. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Joseph's Catholic Church (118 W Main St, Waupun, WI 53963). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
