He is survived by: his parents, John Shakal and Annette Shakal (Etten); his wife Susan Zimmerman; his daughters, Kerrilyn and Kerri; his sister Roxanne Roth; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Semanko, Keith Zimmerman (Wanda), Dave Zimmerman (Kathy), Dale Zimmerman (Michele) and Karen Olynick (Carlie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
