He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hiram Nelson and Barbara Nelson of Boyd, Wisconsin.; his daughter Susan Marie; his granddaughter Crystal Rashid; his wife Anna Nelson; and his children, Chris Nelson, Sandra Tenas, Teresa Houseal (John), Belinda Rich (Jack), Jim Nelson and John Nelson Jr.. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
