It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond William Hangartner of Bowler, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hangartner and Mary Hangartner (Goglin); his wife Betty Schmidt; and his siblings, Irma Dahse, Elmer, Albert and Melvin Hangartner.
He is survived by: his sons, Curtis Hangartner (Diane) of Wausau, Steven Hangartner (Judy) of Sheboygan, Terry Hangartner of Bowler, Jay Hangartner of Oshkosh and Kim Hangartner (Toni) of Gresham; his grandchildren, Brian Hangartner, Kristin Polkki (Tom) and Alyssa Hangartner; his stepgrandson Shawn Fischer; his stepgreat-grandson Mason Fischer; his sister Marion Otto (Floyd); and his sister-in-law Marjorie Filter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Raymond Hangartner memorial fund which will be donated to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bowler.
