He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix J. Ascher and Rose M. Ascher (Sperberg); his siblings, Rev. Michael Ascher and Patricia Ascher; and his brother-in-law David Skalecki.

He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Sund (David) of Minneapolis, MN and Rita Skalecki of Green Bay, WI; and his sister-in-law Candy Ascher of Shawano, WI.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
