She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Jaxon Wiest of Boscobel; her parents, Jeff Young and Donna Young (Chappell) of Boscobel; her grandmother Miona Young of Boscobel; her sisters, Stephanie Roth (Buck) of Gays Mills, Tina Belz (Joe) of Boscobel and Tracy Jacobus (Caleb) of Soldiers Grove; her significant other Justin Wiest of Boscobel; her nieces and nephews, Wyatt, Grace, Owen, Elizabeth Roth, Lauren, Evan, Lydia, Ella Belz, Gavin, Cullen, Cora, Quinn, Liam Jacobus, Ryan, Payton Wiest and Rhiannon Wiest; her close friend Ashley Randall; and also, Bill, Deb Wiest of Boscobel, Eric Wiest of Boscobel and Christopher Wiest (Alania) of Boscobel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the "Family of Shawna Young" and will be used for a trust fund for Jaxon .
