He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Ottman and Signe Ottman (Hanson); and his spouse Mary Louise. He is survived by: his children, Deb Pruitt (Dan) of Holstein, IA, Rhonda Smitt of Boscobel, Lesliegh Hammer (Todd) of Jackson, NE and Gary Ottman (Gena) of Boscobel; and his brother Richard Ottman. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
