He was predeceased by: his parents, William Laufenberg and Leona Laufenberg (Wood); his siblings, Lee, Carl Laufenberg, Arlene Stoeffler and Marjorie Miller; his grandson Clint Potter; and his children-in-law, Tim Wilkinson, Gary Esser and Laurie Laufenberg.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Noethe (Darrell) of Patch Grove, Beverly Esser of Mineral Point, Jeanne Kessler (Kirk) of Denton Tx, Nancy Schmitz (Ron) of Beetown, Edward Laufenberg (Chris) of Mount Hope, Ann Wilkinson of Mount Hope and Terry Laufenberg of Mount Hope; his sisters, Doris Krogman (Chien) of Prairie, Carolyn Keeney of Mount Hope and Joanne Carroll (Mike) of McGregor Ia; and his sisters-in-law, Sally Rogers of Madison and Chien. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
