He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dilley and Ethel Dilley (Copus); and his brother John Dilley (Leila) of Pardeeville. He is survived by: his children, Laura Wetter (Mike Hanson) of Boscobel and Greg Dilley (Linda) of Boscobel; his grandchildren, Lindsay Dilley (Josh Eckert), Brent Wetter (Rachel), Lucretia Wilson II (Kevin), Justin Wetter (Lauren) and Lacey Dilley (Trever Koch); his great grandchildren, Kayden Weahkee, Jarren Weahkee and Khloe Lewallen; his sister Miona Young of Boscobel; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Dilley of Blue River and Genieva Dilley (Pat) of Janesville.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the Boscobel Rescue Squad or the Boscobel Fire Department.
