She was predeceased by: her parents, Columbus Bowers and Lucile Bowers. She is survived by: her husband Don Gundeck; her children, Tim Gundeck (Karen Birrenkott), Tom Gundeck (Amy) and JoEllen Fahey (Shaun); her grandchildren, Chris, Peter, Nina and Jack; her great grandchild Addison; her siblings, Barbara Bowers and Tyler Bowers; and her niece Amy Ali (Jalal). She is also survived by her grandchildren and her great granddaughter.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Elaine's name to the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
