He was predeceased by: his father Dennis; his stepfather Mark Lester; and his grandparents, Gomer, Rose Martin, Francis and Ruby Derrickson.
He is survived by: his mother Sandra Martin (Derrickson) of Blue River; his wife Tina Helgerson; his children, Jason (Dylan Krause) of Genoa and Nichelle (Nathan Swiggum) of Soldiers Grove; his grandchildren, Karson and Emma; his brothers, Dan (Amy) and Darren (Michele); his parents-in-law, Donald of Gays Mills and Rosemary Helgerson of Gays Mills; and his sister-in-law Trina Shaner (Todd Johnson) of Viroqua. He is also survived by two nieces; one nephew; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
