He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thyren and Marion Thyren; his brother Peter; his sister-in-law Marsha Thyren; his in-laws, Paul and Harriet Russell; and his brother-in-law Benjamin Russell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anna Marie Bonilla (Luis) of Fennimore, Kristina Thyren of Fennimore and Elsa Stanton (Josh) of Fennimore; his wife Barbara Russell; his grandchildren, Victoria of Fennimore, Luiz of Fennimore, Alejandro of Fennimore, Orlando of Fennimore, Leticia of Fennimore, Lucia of Fennimore, Evita of Fennimore, Carmen of Fennimore, Diego Bonilla of Fennimore, Brooklyn of Fennimore and Carli Stanton of Fennimore; his siblings, Paul of Adele, WI and Polly Ottens (Dirk) of Kempton, PA.; and his siblings-in-law, Bevery Delapp (Ed) of Pineville, MO, Betty Howes (Tom) of Ogilvie, MN, Bonnie Malven (Tony) of Cresco, IA, Briant (Marcia) and Bill Russell of Boscobel.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maple Ridge Bible Church (43955 County Rd E, Boscobel, WI 53805). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boscobel and Homer Cemeteries.
