He was predeceased by: his children, Amy Goltz (Fechhelm) and John Schlender; and his parents-in-law, Norman and Esther Burmeister. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Burmeister; his children, Robert Schlender (Sandy) of Green Bay, Ann Ferdon (Gerald) of Larimore and Scott Schlender (Donna) of Green Bay; his son-in-law Philip Fechhelm; his siblings, Genevieve Buck, Gordon Schlender (Agnes), Roselyn Schultz (James) and Gary Schlender (Sandra); and his siblings-in-law, Joanne Scheer and Gerald Brown. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
