He is survived by: his wife Lois Hartlaben; his children, Gary Hartlaben, Pete Hartlaben (Sharel), Randy "Chouse" Hartlaben, Barb Schmidt (Randy), Steve Hartlaben (Sheila), Karen Van Lanen (Pat), Chris Stedl (Rick) and Kathy Dollhopf (Paul); and his son-in-law Harold Shepard, Jr.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
