He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewald Betzner and Eva Betzner (Schwartz); his son Scott Betzner; his brother John; and his sister-in-law Debbie Betzner.
He is survived by: his wife Marcelene Boettcher of Bonduel; his children, Christopher Betzner of Kaukauna, Matt Betzner (Jackie) of DePere, Jeremy Hacker (Kathryn Renard) of Shawano, Sara Lobato (Ricky) of Colorado Springs, CO and Laura DuChesne (Joe) of Shawano; his grandchildren, Haylee Huth, Paxton Betzner, Ethan, Elise Lobato, Amelia, Liam, Draven and Kasmira DuChesne; and his brother Thomas Betzner (Becky) of Shawano. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers and plants the family prefers memorials to St. James Lutheran School.
