She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester James and Vera James (Larimer); her husband John "Jack" Kinney; and her siblings, Ellen Shumate (James) and James James.

She is survived by: her daughter JoEllen Knoble (Philip) of Yukon, OK; her granddaughter Kristin Knoble-Swanson (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Marigold and Linus of Minneapolis, MN..

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at a later date.
