He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kinney and Marguerite Kinney (Clancy); his wife Elaine Kinney; his siblings, Jack, Jerry Kinney and Kathleen Sorge; and his brothers-in-law, James B. O'Connor and Joe Joyce.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg (JoAnn) of Blue River, Richard (Sara) of Blue River and Kevin "George" (Ann Winger) of Blue River; his grandchildren, Becky Miess (Darin), Brandon Kinney (Jessi), Brittany Kinney, Rachel Jelinek (Brian) and Ryan Kinney (Jessie); his great grandchildren, Morgan, Kaitlyn, Irelynn, Madelyn, Ashlynn Miess, Riley, McKenna Kinney, Emma, Easton Jelinek, Mikayla and Brantley Kinney; his siblings, Leo Kinney (Phyllis), Thomas Kinney, Kyrie Kinney (Jane), Therese O'Connor, Irene Joyce and Mary Knothe; his siblings-in-law, Janet Kinney, Sally Kinney and Michael Sorge; and his friend Cubs (Paul Berghoff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Philip's Cemetery Association, Riverdale Education Foundation, Blue River Fire Department or St. Mary's Catholic School.
