He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanene Alery (Hestnes); his brother Daniel Peter Alery; and his parents, Albert Alery and Libbie Alery (Madison). He is survived by: his sister Joann Kiska (Alery); his children, David Alery (Lisa), Dyann Black (Philip) and Renee DuFour; his grandchildren, Jared, Sydney Alery, Nathan Black (Jewell), David Black and Delaney DuFour; and his nephews, Robert, Michael, Henry and Timothy Kiska.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be gifted in Tom's name to Agrace HospiceCare, Fitchburg, WI.
